“If I was confused between articles or similar-sounding words, I used extra words. It worked for me. I didn’t lose marks.”
She also adapted her spelling strategy — trying different spellings for a word if she was unsure — and that helped her retain marks.
In the PTE Reading module, sequence and accuracy are everything. Siman used a smart trick to ensure she didn’t miss any words in dictation: she noted down the initials of each word and immediately typed them in the correct order.
“I followed the sequence by using initials. That helped me remember the flow and get full marks.”

“There were many students practicing around me — it was noisy, just like the real PTE exam. That helped me build focus.”
